“Epic Systems added a total of 176 facilities and 29,399 beds in 2024, its largest net gain in hospital market share on record, according to a Klas Research report.
Epic is the leading vendor of electronic health record software [EHR], which is the digital version of a patient’s medical history.
Oracle, a competing vendor, lost 74 sites and 17,232 beds during the same period, the report said.”
